  11.        INTRODUCTION
  12.  
  13.        This easy-to-use shareware program provides a fun way to apply the
  14.        science of  numerology to help you better understand your romantic
  15.        relationships. The  highly insightful  reports  produced  by  this
  16.        program  are   surprisingly  accurate   and  full   of   practical
  17.        suggestions that  can help you to have a stronger, more meaningful
  18.        partnership. By showing the dynamics at work in your relationship,
  19.        the reports  can help  you and  your partner  to better understand
  20.        each other and to improve your communications together.

  22.        The reports  produced by  this program  run 6  to 8  pages and are
  23.        based on  the birth name, current name and birth date used by each
  24.        person. The current name is very important since it often adds new
  25.        and important  energies that  reflect changes  made in  a person's
  26.        life. This  is especially  true for  a woman  who changes her name
  27.        when she gets married.

  29.        Intimacy  uses  a  sophisticated  approach  to  look  at  complete
  30.        numerology charts  for two  people. The program scans both charts,
  31.        looking for  energies that  either enhance,  support or reduce the
  32.        desired traits  that are the basis for the six sections covered in
  33.        the report.  This integrated type of analysis is similar to what a
  34.        professional numerologist does in a personal reading.

  37.        respected numerologist  and author of the definitive, "Numerology:

  41.        PRINTING README AND DOCUMENTATION FILES

  43.        To print this readme file on a printer connected to port LPT1:,
  44.        enter the following command from the DOS prompt:

  48.        After running the INSTALL program described below, you can make a
  49.        printed copy of the User's Manual by entering the command:

  65.        The Intimacy program consists of about 22 files that are shipped
  66.        in compressed format. In addition, there are another 9 files that
  67.        are compressed for the program User's Manual and Catalog. An
  68.        INSTALL program is included to decompress these files. (The file
  69.        PACKING.LST contains a complete listing of the contents of the
  70.        program after decompressing.) In addition, the following
  71.        documentation files should be separately included on the
  72.        distribution disk:

  79.        NOTE:  If you obtained this program through a BBS, it was probably
  80.               in ZIP format as LOVE.ZIP. In this case all the files are
  81.               contained in LOVE.ZIP instead. The PACKING.LST file gives a
  82.               complete list of the files you should have after UNZIPPING
  83.               this file.

  85.               The following installation instructions only apply if you
  86.               received Intimacy on a diskette. If you downloaded the
  87.               program from a BBS, just UNZIP the files and enter INT from
  88.               the DOS prompt to start.

  91.        INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
  92.  
  93.        An installation program is provided to simplify the setup of
  94.        Intimacy. If you are using a hard disk, this program will
  95.        decompress and copy all files from the original diskette into the
  96.        sub-directory \INT. If you are working on either a dual or single
  97.        floppy disk based system, the installation program will make a
  98.        working set of diskette(s) for you to use.
  99.  
  100.        To begin the installation, make sure you are at the DOS prompt
  101.        (exit Windows or any DOS Shell program that you may be in.) Next,
  102.        insert the Intimacy disk into floppy drive A or B. Then go to this
  103.        drive by typing A: or B: followed by ENTER. Finally, type in the
  104.        command:
  105.  
  106.             INSTALL
  107.  
  108.        and press the ENTER key.
  109.  
  110.        Two screens of information appear that give complete instructions
  111.        on using the INSTALL program. The second screen is reached by
  112.        pressing any key after reading the first screen. The second screen
  113.        contains the actual command line syntax that needs to be entered.

  121.        After reading the two screens of instructions, re-enter INSTALL
  122.        with the appropriate command line options to begin the actual
  123.        installation process.
  124.  
  125.        For example, to copy all the files from the Intimacy disk in drive
  126.        A to hard disk drive C, enter the command:

  128.             INSTALL A C
  129.  
  130.        As a second example, to copy all the files from the Intimacy disk
  131.        in drive A to a 3.5 inch floppy disk in drive B, enter the
  132.        command:

  134.             INSTALL A B 3
  135.  
  136.        The program will prompt you whenever you need to do something.
  137.  
  138.        NOTE: If you prefer not to use the INSTALL program, you can copy
  139.              all the files into an empty sub-directory using the DOS Copy
  140.              command instead. Then execute the two self-extracting files,
  141.              CIDISK1.EXE and CIDISK2.EXE. Once all the program and
  142.              documentation files are extracted, delete CIDISK1.EXE and
  143.              CIDISK2.EXE. Use this method if you want to install the
  144.              program into a sub-directory other then \INT.

  146.        After the installation is completed, start Intimacy by entering
  147.        the following command from the DOS prompt:

  149.             INT
  150.  
  151.        The first  time you  run Intimacy  answer Y  to the  first program
  152.        prompt:
  153.  
  154.             "Do you want INSTRUCTIONS (Y/N)?"
  155.  
  156.        This will give you enough information to successfully use the
  157.        program without reading the manual. When you are ready, the manual
  158.        will provide additional information that may be helpful.

  161.        SHAREWARE AND HOW IT WORKS
  162.  
  163.        Intimacy is distributed as a Shareware program. Shareware is
  164.        software which is provided to you on a "try before you buy" basis.
  165.        It is not free software! We request registration fees from those
  166.        who try this program and decide they will continue to use it. (We
  167.        do not receive payments from retail stores, disk vendors or BBSs
  168.        who you may have already paid a small "distribution" fee to for
  169.        the program diskette or downloaded files.) Because we do not have
  170.        to pay the high cost of advertising, the fees we charge for
  171.        registration are modest in comparison to commercially available

  179.        be of interest to you.

  181.        With Intimacy you have the convenience of trying out the complete
  182.        program to decide if you want to keep it. This is not a crippled
  183.        or demo copy, but the complete working version of the program.
  184.        Only if you are satisfied and continue to use the program do you
  185.        need to pay for it. You are encouraged to copy the Intimacy
  186.        diskette and share it freely with others.

  189.        (not to exceed 60 days) you must either stop using it or buy a
  190.        registered copy from Widening Horizons. The registered copy costs
  191.        $39 (U.S. funds) plus $5 shipping/handling for U.S. and Canada and
  192.        $10 shipping/handling for all other countries. Registration gives
  193.        you a LEGAL LICENSE to continue using the program beyond the 60
